§ 71-4-305 — Sale of products - Distribution of proceeds

(a) All finished products made from raw material and supplies purchased with the proceeds of advances under this part shall be detailed to the director of services for the blind at such times and places as the director may designate. (b) Upon receipt of such finished articles, the director, with the approval of the commissioner, shall proceed to sell them in such manner and in such method, either singly or collectively, as will net the highest price. In case of a collective sale, the proceeds shall be ratably apportioned, when several blind persons contributed finished products, in proportion to the amount of such finished products made by each. (c) Out of the proceeds of the sale of any finished product made by any blind person, the director of services for the blind shall repay to the revolving fund the amount of the advances made from it to the maker of such finished products and shall pay the remainder of the proceeds of such sale to such blind person. (d) The director shall not be permitted to make or deduct any charges for the director's services in negotiating such sale.
