Text
The commissioner is authorized to adopt, promulgate and enforce rules and regulations to:
(1)Enable the department to carry out this chapter for the control of tuberculosis;
(2)Establish criteria for the admission of patients to approved hospitals, and for the proper hospital and out-patient care for these patients; and (3) Establish procedures for the reporting of tuberculosis and for isolating and quarantining those persons infected with tuberculosis who have been determined by the commissioner or by a state, district, county or municipal health officer to be contagious.
