Text

(a)This section shall be known and may be cited as the "Chronic Disease Prevention Act." (b) By no later than October 1, 2019, the speaker of the senate, the speaker of the house of representatives, the commissioner of health, and the governor shall establish a task force to study methods on how best to prevent cardiovascular disease, hypertension, and diabetes in this state.
(c)The task force is composed of eleven (11) members, as follows:
(1)One (1) member of the senate health and welfare committee, to be appointed by the speaker of the senate;
(2)One (1) member of the health committee of the house of representatives, to be appointed by the speaker of the house of representatives;
