Text

Neither this part nor anything herein contained shall be construed as a restriction or a limitation upon any powers which the authority might otherwise have under any laws of this state, but shall be construed as cumulative of and supplemental to any such powers. No proceeding notice or approval shall be required with respect to the issuance of any bonds of the authority or any instrument as security therefor except as provided in this part, notwithstanding any law to the contrary; provided, that nothing herein shall be construed to deprive the state of Tennessee and its governmental subdivisions of their respective police powers over properties of the authority, or to impair any power of any official or agency of this state and its governmental subdivisions which may be otherwise provided
