Text
Upon detection of a release of used oil or any other automotive fluid to the environment at an automotive fluid collection center and notification to the department, the following cleanup steps must be performed:
(1)Stop the release;
(2)Contain the released used oil or other automotive fluid;
(3)Clean up and manage properly the released used oil or other automotive fluid and other materials; and (4) If necessary to prevent future releases, repair or replace any leaking used oil or other automotive fluid storage containers or tanks prior to returning them to service.
