(a)Except where otherwise provided, the department has the power, and it is its duty, to enforce this chapter and the rules and regulations promulgated by the board.
(b)The department shall exercise enforcement over moving walks in the same manner and to the same extent as provided in this chapter for elevators, dumbwaiters, and escalators.
(c)The commissioner shall promulgate rules necessary to administer this chapter, including rules for the reporting of any fatalities or serious physical injuries incurred from the operation of amusement devices, or specifically related electrical equipment, and the subsequent inspection of the amusement devices and related electrical equipment.
