Text
The commissioner of commerce and insurance shall promulgate rules setting forth departmental procedures for resolving disputes regarding the interpretation and application of building and construction safety standards adopted pursuant to § 68-120-101 that arise during the review of plans, a request for inspection of construction or renovation of an existing building, or the inspection of construction by the department. Any appeal of the ultimate decision of the department in such a dispute shall be made in accordance with the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, compiled in title 4, chapter 5, part 3, pertaining to contested cases.
