Text

(a)Each child care agency, as defined in § 71-3-501 , in this state shall have installed in each room of the child care agency where care is provided to children a carbon monoxide alarm that is listed according to the International Building Code and International Fire Code for the purpose of carbon monoxide detection.
(b)(1) A violation of this section is a Class C misdemeanor. Each day on which a violation continues constitutes a separate offense under this section.
(2)Section 68-120-106 applies with respect to the enforcement of this section.
