Text

(a)Subject to annual appropriations made available to the state by the United States public health service through Part B (Title II) of the Ryan White CARE Act ( 42 U.S.C. § 300ff-21 et seq.), the commissioner of health shall establish an AIDS Center of Excellence advisory committee to advise the department of health in the designation of AIDS Centers of Excellence, provide quality assurance monitoring for the centers, and the establishment and review of policies for continuation of the AIDS Centers of Excellence. If, in any fiscal year, federal funding for the committee is eliminated or reduced, then the committee shall cease to exist in accordance with title 4, chapter 29.
