§ 68-1-133 — Department of health website - Links to asthma prevention protocols

(a)The commissioner of health shall encourage public health organizations, the medical community, the department of education, the department of labor and workforce development, the department of general services, and other relevant stakeholders to examine the asthma prevention protocols posted on the website of the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and related information to assist the medical profession, schools, public venues, workplaces, and other relevant stakeholders, in making appropriate responses to assist in:
(1)Diagnosing environmentally associated exacerbation of asthma in people with asthma;
(2)Avoiding new asthma cases;
(3)Better identifying and avoiding potential triggers so as to protect persons with these conditions; an
