Text

(a)The commissioner of health shall:
(1)Promulgate such rules and regulations as are necessary and reasonable for the enforcement of this chapter;
(2)Establish continuing education requirements;
(3)Establish standards for the training and practice of electrolysis;
(4)Maintain a list of all current licensed electrologists, licensed electrolysis schools and training centers, and licensed electrology instructors; and (5) Adopt a code of ethics governing the practice of electrology by licensees under this chapter.
(b)In no event shall this chapter be interpreted as conferring on the commissioner the authority or jurisdiction to regulate the practice of medicine or osteopathy by persons licensed under chapter 6 or 9 of this title, or to regulate the activities of those persons employed by
