Text

(a)The board may, at its discretion, grant licensure to any person who is licensed or registered in another state or country with standards as stringent as those required by this chapter.
(b)(1) The board may, in its discretion, grant a temporary license to a person who has been licensed, registered, or certified, in good standing, in another state, territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia, that meets all other requirements for reciprocity under this chapter and rules promulgated pursuant to this chapter, but which does not require successful passage of a competency examination approved by the board.
(2)A person granted a temporary license pursuant to this section may work if the person is at all times working under the supervision of a person licensed pursuant to § 6
