§ 63-17-115 — Fees

(a) The amount of fees prescribed in connection with a license as a speech language pathologist or audiologist shall be determined by the board. (b) An applicant wishing to be licensed in both speech language pathology and audiology shall pay the examination fee for each license. Such individual, however, is required to pay only one (1) initial license fee and only one (1) renewal or delinquency fee; provided, that the applications for the two (2) licenses are submitted simultaneously. (c) The fees shall be fixed by the board and shall be set forth with the regulations that are duly adopted under this chapter. (d) Every person to whom a license is issued shall, as a condition precedent to its issuance and in addition to any application, examination or other fee, pay the prescribed initial license fee. The board may, by regulation, provide for the waiver where the license is issued less than forty-five (45) days before the date on which it will expire.
