(a)The board is authorized to:
(1)Administer, coordinate and enforce this chapter, evaluate the qualifications of applicants, supervise the examination for applicants, and may issue subpoenas, examine witnesses and administer oaths and shall investigate persons engaging in practices that violate this chapter;
(2)Conduct such hearings and keep such records and minutes as shall be necessary to an orderly dispatch of business;
(3)Adopt and publish responsible rules and regulations, including, but not limited to, regulations that establish ethical standards of practice and may amend or repeal the same; and (4) Govern and control every person who holds a license or is registered to practice in the field of communication disorders and sciences in this state by the rules of professional condu
