Text

(a)A person shall not use the title "certified professional music therapist," or "certified music therapist," or use any abbreviation to indicate that the person is certified as a professional music therapist in this state unless the person holds a certificate issued by the advisory committee under this part.
(b)Subsection (a) does not prohibit:
(1)A person who is licensed, certified, or regulated under the laws of this state in another profession or occupation, including physicians, psychologists, psychoanalysts, registered nurses, marriage and family therapists, social workers, occupational therapists, professional or rehabilitation counselors, speech-language pathologists or audiologists, or personnel supervised by a licensed professional from performing work, including the use of mu
