Text
(a)The advisory committee may, at its discretion, grant a certificate to any person residing or employed in this state who is certified by a similar entity in another state whose standards, as determined by the advisory committee, are not less stringent than the standards required by this part.
(b)The advisory committee may enter into a reciprocal agreement with another state or jurisdiction that certifies persons engaged in the practice of professional music therapy, if the advisory committee determines that the other state has substantially similar or more stringent certification requirements than this state.
