Text

(a)A registered agent may resign as an agent for a limited partnership or registered foreign limited partnership by delivering to the secretary of state for filing a statement of resignation that states:
(1)The name of the limited partnership or registered foreign limited partnership;
(2)The name of the agent;
(3)That the agent resigns from serving as registered agent for the limited partnership or registered foreign limited partnership; and (4) A certification that the registered agent has mailed a copy of the statement to the principal office of the limited partnership by certified mail.
(b)The agency appointment is terminated, and the registered office discontinued if so provided, on the date on which the statement is filed by the secretary of state. When a statement of resignation
