Text
(a)A member of the United States reserve forces shall be issued a registration plate, upon request, for a motor vehicle authorized by § 55-4-210(c) , upon complying with the title and registration laws and paying the regular fee applicable to the vehicle and the additional fee prescribed by § 55-4-204 .
(b)The registration plates provided for in this section shall include an identification legend distinctive to members of the United States reserve forces. The legend shall read "US Reserve Forces." The registration number of the plates shall include the letters "US" and a unique identifying number.
(c)Eligibility for United States reserve forces registration plates shall be determined by the department in consultation with the appropriate information on current and valid DD Form 2A (Res)
