Text

(a)Officers and employees of the department designated by the commissioner are, for the purpose of administering the motor vehicle laws, authorized to administer oaths and acknowledge signatures, and shall do so without fee.
(b)The commissioner and officers of the department the commissioner may designate are authorized to prepare, and deliver, upon request, a certified copy of any record of the department required to be kept by chapters 1-6 of this title and authorized to be released by chapter 25 of this title, charging a fee of fifty cents (50¢) for each document authenticated.
