Text

This state, and each school district and public school of this state, shall remove barriers to educational success imposed on children of military families because of frequent moves of their parents by extending the benefits and opportunities provided to children of active duty members of the uniformed services in the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children, codified in § 49-12-301 , to school-aged children in the household of a member of any reserve component of the armed forces of the United States, including members of the Tennessee army and air national guard, who are enrolled in any of the grades kindergarten through twelve (K-12).
