Text
(a)Each LEA shall include in the course of instruction for students in grades five through eight (5-8) curricula designed to educate students in:
(1)Black history and black culture; and (2) The contribution of black people to the history and development of this country and of the world.
(b)The state board of education shall include multicultural diversity when developing frameworks and curricula to be taught at appropriate grade levels for students in kindergarten through grade twelve (K-12). This section is set out more than once due to postponed, multiple, or conflicting amendments.
