Text

(a)In accordance with the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act ( 42 U.S.C. § 11431 et seq.), LEAs must:
(1)Provide educational services and support to homeless students; and (2) Designate a local liaison responsible for ensuring homeless students are identified and have a full and equal opportunity to succeed in school.
(b)The department of education shall provide technical assistance to homeless-student liaisons as needed.
