§ 49-5-506 — Local standards may apply
Tennessee·Title 49
The local board of education has the authority to set standards of employment or to maintain educational requirements of the personnel in service over and above those required by the state board of education whenever the board is in position to support the superior program; provided, that the requirements are general in their application.
