Text
(a)Any member of the board who votes to create debts beyond the legitimate income provided in the school budget for any school year or in any way misappropriates or misuses school funds commits a Class A misdemeanor and shall forfeit office.
(b)This section does not apply to an innovative school district as defined in § 49-8-1502 .
