Text
The state board of education may:
(1)Provide for appropriate DARE training for students before entering middle school. The training may be conducted at the sixth grade level or at such other time as is necessary for students to receive training before entering middle school;
(2)Approve the usage of textbooks and other educational materials to be used by students enrolled in DARE courses; and (3) Authorize LEAs to include DARE curricula among the courses offered within area schools.
