(a)There is created a standards recommendation committee. The committee shall be composed of ten (10) members. The governor shall appoint four (4) members, the speaker of the senate shall appoint three (3) members, and the speaker of the house of representatives shall appoint three (3) members. The standards recommendation committee shall review and evaluate the recommendations of the two (2) standards review and development committees and post the recommendations to the website created pursuant to § 49-1-311(a)(3) for the purpose of gathering additional feedback from the public.
(b)Gubernatorial appointments made pursuant to subsection (a) for the standards recommendation committee shall be subject to confirmation by the senate and the house of representatives, but appointments shall be
