§ 43-27-101 — Chapter definitions

As used in this chapter:

(1)"Commissioner" means the commissioner of agriculture;
(2)"Department" means the department of agriculture;
(3)"Hemp" means the plant cannabis sativa L. and any part of that plant, including the seeds thereof and all derivatives, extracts, cannabinoids, isomers, acids, salts, and salts of isomers, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) concentration of not more than three-tenths of one percent (0.3%) on a dry weight basis;
(4)"Hemp concentrate" means a concentrate with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) concentration of not more than five percent (5%) that is derived from hemp solely for purposes of reconstitution into consumer products with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) concentration of not more than three-tenths of one pe
