(a)The governing body of the district consists of five (5) supervisors, elected or appointed as provided in § 43-14-214 .
(b)The supervisors shall designate a chair and may, from time to time, change such designation. The term of office of each supervisor is three (3) years, except as provided in § 43-14-214(e) . A supervisor shall hold office until a successor has been elected or appointed. A majority of the supervisors constitutes a quorum and the concurrence of a majority of supervisors present is required for the determination of a matter within the district's duties. Supervisors shall each receive the sum of thirty dollars ($30.00) per day for expenses incurred for attending district meetings where a quorum is present; provided, that the total of such payments to any supervisor shal
