(a)It is the duty of the department, the commissioner and employees of the department, and every state and municipal officer charged with the enforcement of state and municipal laws, to enforce and assist in the enforcement of this chapter and of all rules, regulations and orders issued pursuant to this chapter and of all other laws of this state relating to aeronautics; and in that connection each of the persons mentioned in this section is authorized to inspect and examine at reasonable hours any premises, and the buildings and other structures on the premises, where airports, air navigation facilities, air schools, or other aeronautical activities are operated or conducted.
