A license or permit issued by the secretary of state under § 4-49-203 , prior to July 1, 2023, remains valid on and after July 1, 2023, and is deemed to be a license issued by the sports wagering advisory council on and after July 1, 2023. Until emergency or permanent rules are adopted by the sports wagering advisory council, existing rules governing fantasy sports adopted by the secretary of state remain in full force and effect.
