Text

(a)The council, utilizing employees of the council, may:
(1)Conduct investigations or audits to determine whether a licensee is accepting wagers from minors or other persons ineligible to place wagers in this state; and (2) Conduct investigations to determine whether a person is unlawfully accepting wagers from another person without a license or at a location or in a manner in violation of this part.
(b)After a hearing under § 4-49-126 , if the council finds that:
(1)A licensee is accepting wagers from minors or other persons ineligible to place wagers in this state, the council shall impose a fine against the licensee in the following amount:
(A)For a first offense, one thousand dollars ($1,000);
(B)For a second offense, two thousand dollars ($2,000); and (C) For a third or subsequ
