Text

(a)A licensee shall not:
(1)Allow a minor to place a wager;
(2)Offer, accept, or extend credit to a bettor;
(3)Directly advertise or promote sports wagering to minors. The council shall adopt rules specific to the manner in which a licensee may advertise its business operations as authorized by this part;
(4)Offer or accept a wager on any event, outcome, or occurrence other than a sporting event, including, without limitation, a high school sporting event offered, sponsored, or played in connection with a public or private institution that offers education at the secondary level; or (5) Accept a wager from a person who is on the registry created and maintained by the council under § 4-49-112(c) .
(b)A violation of this section is:
(1)For a first offense, a Class B misdemeanor; and (
