Text
(a)This section shall be known and may be cited as the "Debra Johnson Act." (b) The department of correction may, if the commissioner of correction deems it appropriate, contribute up to two thousand dollars ($2,000) in state funds toward the funeral and burial expenses, as defined in § 1-3-105 , of any correctional employee killed in the line of duty.
