The commissioner of labor and workforce development, in performing the duties established in title 5, shall also require every business or entity that sponsors a group medical benefit contract in this state to include in each notice issued pursuant to the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 ( 29 U.S.C. § 1166 or 42 U.S.C. § 300bb-6 ), and related laws and regulations, the following additional language: You may be entitled to have the state of Tennessee pay the premium for your ongoing health insurance.
