Text
(a)A transferee court, upon receipt of the transferred documents from the transferor court shall assign a docket number to the case and establish a case file, and shall create a child support payment record, unless the case is being enforced under Title IV-D of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. § 651 et seq.), in which case the department's child support computer system, if operative for the transferor and transferee court at the time of the transfer, shall be used as the child support payment record and the clerk shall not be required to create a separate child support payment record.
(b)A transferred order of child support or custody is enforceable and modifiable in the same manner and is subject to the same procedures as if the order had been originally issued by the transferee cour
