Text

As used in §§ to 6-3-8 , inclusive, the term, political subdivision, means any county, any municipality, improvement district, or any school district. Any two or more political subdivisions, each of which has territory overlapping that of all of the others, may agree in the manner set forth in § 6-3-2 to acquire a site for, purchase or construct, equip, furnish, operate, and maintain a public building for their common use, for the purposes authorized by law in the case of each such subdivision, or to improve, extend, equip, and furnish, for such purposes, any such building previously owned by the participating subdivisions or any of them.
