§ 58-33-87 — Payments of health insurance benefits for medical assistance recipients.

South Dakota·Title 58 INSURANCE·Ch. 58-32 UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES
Any insurer subject to this chapter who is engaged in the business of health insurance shall provide that payment for benefits with respect to any participant who receives benefits from the Department of Social Services medical assistance program under Title XIX of the Social Security Act as amended to January 1, 1994, shall be made in accordance with the assignment of rights for medical support as required by § 28-6-7.1 without additional restrictions or requirements as compared with any other agent or assignee of any other individual so covered by the insurer.
