Text

In case the holder of such contract of sale shall fail to redeem the land within the time allowed by law for the redemption of other lands sold for taxes, and also pay to the proper officer for the use of the holder of the tax certificate all payments of principal and interest if any, made by him upon the contract of sale, with interest from the time so made at the rate provided by law, the holder and owner of such tax certificate, upon the receipt of a tax deed thereon, duly given, and the filing of a certified copy of the same with the commissioner of school and public lands together with a certificate showing that he has caused notice as hereinafter provided to be served upon the legal holder of the contract of sale of his intention of making application for a special contract of sale a
