Text

The Bureau of Human Resources and Administration shall publish notice of its intent to purchase property or liability insurance or performance bonds. Publication of a notice containing a description of the coverage sought as a display advertisement in at least three newspapers of general circulation in different parts of the state at least sixty days prior to the purchase, along with publication in the South Dakota Register, shall be considered compliance with the notice requirements of this section. The notice provisions of this section do not apply to expenditures of less than five thousand dollars.
