Text

The commissioners and the duly authorized officers and employees of the Public Utilities Commission, during business hours, may enter upon any premises occupied by any public utility for the purpose of making examinations and tests and to inspect the accounts, books, papers and documents of any public utility for the purpose of exercising any power provided for in this chapter, and may set up and use on such premises any apparatus and appliance necessary therefor. Such public utility shall have the right to be represented at the making of such examinations, tests and inspections. Such public utility, its officers and employees, shall facilitate such examinations, tests and inspections by giving every reasonable aid to the commissioners and any person or persons designated by the commission
