Text

Each elector signing a petition shall add to the elector's signature, in the elector's own handwriting, the elector's post office address, the legal description of sufficient land to qualify as an elector, and the date of signing. The petition may contain any number of pages, and each page shall have an identical heading. Any number of identical petition forms may be circulated as a part of the petition. Every page of a petition containing signatures shall have below the signatures an affidavit by the circulator in substantially the following form: State of South Dakota ) ) SS County of ______________ ) I, the undersigned, being first duly sworn, depose and say that I am the circulator of the foregoing petition containing __________ signatures; that each person whose name appe
