§ 46A-3B-7 — Notices of elections.
A water development district, or the Board of Water and Natural Resources in the case of an initial election, shall publish a notice setting forth vacancies that will occur upon the completion of board member terms. The notice must:
(1)Be published once per week for two consecutive weeks;
(2)Be published in the official newspaper of the district;
(3)Be published no less than ten nor more than twenty days before the deadline for the filing of director petitions; and (4) State the time and place where nominating petitions may be filed for director vacancies.
