No member of the commission, employee of the South Dakota Lottery, or any person residing in the same household as either of the aforementioned may:

(1)Directly or indirectly, individually, as a member of a partnership or other association, or as a stockholder, director, or officer of a corporation, have an interest in a business which contracts for the operation or promotion of the lottery; or (2) Accept or agree to accept any economic opportunity, gift, loan, gratuity, special discount, favor, hospitality, or service having an aggregate value of one hundred dollars or more in any calendar year from a person or business contracting or seeking to contract with the state to supply materials, tickets, or consulting services for use in the lottery or from a lottery retailer, person lic
