Text

For the purposes of all classification and administration of the statutes of the State of South Dakota, executive orders, administrative orders, and rules pertaining to upland game birds that are being raised in captivity:

(1)Such upland game birds and any products that are lawfully derived from the upland game birds are agricultural products; and (2) The breeding, raising, producing, or selling of such upland game birds or lawfully derived products by the producer is an agricultural pursuit. For purposes of this section, the term, upland game birds, includes all species and subspecies of quail, partridges, pheasants, wild turkeys, grouse, and prairie chickens.
