§ 40-37-5 — First district meeting--Notice to livestock owners--Appointment of chairman and secretary.

South Dakota·Title 40 ANIMALS AND LIVESTOCK·Ch. 40-37 PREDATOR CONTROL DISTRICTS
The first meeting of the livestock owners in the district shall be called in the following manner: The director of equalization of each county within the district shall, within thirty days of the formation of the district, prepare from the county livestock census, as corrected by the board of county commissioners, of that year, an accurate list of all persons, corporations, or partnerships who have been determined to be the owners of livestock described in the petition in his county and the number of livestock. The director of equalization shall mail a notice to each of the resident livestock owners to attend the district meeting, at a time and place to be specified in the notice, for the election of the board of directors of the predator control district.
