§ 38-8-33 — Application to secretary of state for certificate evidencing boundary changes--Accompanying statement by state commission--Issuance of certificate.
Upon determination by the State Conservation Commission in favor of a proposed change of district boundaries, the chairmen of the governing bodies of the districts shall present to the secretary of state an application, signed by them for a certificate evidencing the change of boundary. The application shall be accompanied by a statement by the commission certifying that the boundary between the districts has been changed in accordance with the procedures prescribed in §§ 38-8-30 to 38-8-32 , inclusive, and setting forth the new boundary line. When the application and statement have been filed with the secretary of state, the change of boundary shall be deemed effective and the secretary of state shall issue to the supervisors of each of the districts a certificate evidencing the change of
