Text
The term, guaranteed analysis, means the minimum percentage of plant nutrients claimed in the following order and form:
(1)Total nitrogen (N) ____________ percent Available phosphoric acid (P 2 O 5 ) or available phosphate ____________ percent Soluble potash (K 2 O) ____________ percent (2) For unacidulated mineral phosphatic materials and basic slag, both total and available phosphoric acid and the degree of fineness shall be stated. For bone, tankage, and other organic phosphatic materials, total phosphoric acid shall be stated.
(3)Guarantees for plant nutrients other than nitrogen, phosphoric acid, and potash may be permitted or required by regulations of the secretary of agriculture and natural resources. The guarantees for such other nutrients shall be expressed
