Text
This chapter applies to any franchise that is offered or sold in this state. A franchise is offered in this state if:
(1)An offer to sell is made in this state;
(2)The offer originates from within this state; or (3) The offer is directed by the offeror into this state from outside this state and is received where directed. A franchise is sold in this state if the offer to sell is accepted in this state. A franchise is offered or sold in this state if the franchise is offered or sold to a resident of this state and the franchise is to be operated in this state, or, if the franchisee is domiciled in this state when the franchised business is or will be operated in this state.
