Out of the funds coming into the possession of the board, the board members may receive the compensation and reimbursement of expenses provided by law. The secretary-treasurer shall in addition thereto be paid a stipend approved by the board. The board may expend funds necessary for the board to administer and carry out the provisions of this chapter, the amount of the expenditures to be set by the board. Any member, if serving as a regional or national dental examiner, may receive compensation from the examining agency.
