Text
If, by reason of an investigation under this chapter or otherwise, the board has reason to believe that any person or firm has knowingly engaged in any act or practice that constitutes a violation of this chapter, the board may bring its information to the attention of the attorney general of any state or other appropriate law enforcement officer who may cause appropriate criminal proceedings to be brought thereon. Any person or firm who knowingly violates any provision of this chapter is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.
